About us

If peace is more than the absence of war, a true culture of peace requires:

• radical new forms and terms of interaction between individuals that go beyond the constrains of any identification with race, nationality, social status etc.
• reform of the socialization process that reinforces the roles of dominant and dominated
• changes in the structures of society which uphold them

We believe that there has never been a better way to protect each person's and each cultural identity than by fostering mutual respect.

Official members of Planet Society UNESCO, we support any creative ideas for life.

The etymology of the word "MADARA" - "Ma" - "mother" and "dara" "present, shelter, support" expresses the archetype of mothering. The name contains the essence of our activity: giving cordial support to innovations.

We have taken the symbolism of the Mother who nourishes & stimulates for inspiration and guidance, for the word has much to say about our enterprise:

• to sustain and promote the culture of tolerance and peace by stimulating increased cross-cultural researches and contacts
• to promote the philosophy of the new culture of tolerance and peace in schools and kindergartens through modern socialization, based on the conception "You Exist Because The Others Exist"
• to foster an active partnership between citizens and social scientists through communicative information: lectures, workshops, seminars, films projection that will empower people and government to act wisely as global citizens
• to support field research, writings and discourse
• to co-operate and collaborate with other similar institutions

The Foundation is created in June 1997.
